What it does
- Resets the general maintenance service reminder
- Clears service messages related to:
- Scheduled inspections
- Time- or mileage-based maintenance
- Updates the service countdown in the instrument cluster
When it is required
- After completing scheduled maintenance
- After inspection or general service work
- After replacing service-related components
Conditions that must be met
- Ignition ON, engine OFF (unless specified)
- No active cluster communication faults
- Stable battery voltage
If reset is not performed
- Service reminder remains active
- Warning messages may persist
- Incorrect service interval tracking

- Restarts oil degradation calculation
