- Electromechanical parking brake released

- No fault codes stored in parking brake system
- Ignition ON
- Stable battery voltage
- Diagnostic tool connected
What happens during activation
- Parking brake actuators move to service position
- Brake system releases clamping force
- System confirms maintenance mode active
2) Parking Brake Maintenance Mode Deactivation
What it does
- Exits maintenance mode and restores normal parking brake operation
- Reinitializes parking brake actuator positions
Preconditions
- Parking brake already in maintenance mode
- Shift selector lever in position P
- Ignition ON
- Stable battery voltage
- Diagnostic tool connected
What happens during deactivation
- Parking brake actuators return to normal operating position
- System relearns clamping force if required
- Parking brake functionality is restored
If procedures are not performed correctly
